Before the HP-Palm deal was said and done, there was plenty of speculation as to who would buy Palm. A few contenders had been mentioned, but we never really knew how serious any of them were about buying the former tech giant. Now, a new report from Business Insider claims the race to buy Palm was a fast one that involved five serious potential suitors.
We all know by now that HP won Palm in the end, but it's still fun to think about the what-ifs and see a few more behind-the-scenes details about how the sale took place.
