A mobile-friendly web site is a version of a website that is optimized for viewing on a small screen such as a PDA. While full HTML browsers on some handheld devices let you view full-fledged websites, viewing a simplified version of that same site on your PDA can be useful because the pages load more quickly and are easier to view on a small screen.
There are plenty of mobile-friendly websites available. I’ve compiled a list of 10 popular news sites as well as five popular mobile search engines. Check them out and then let us know what site(s) you love to visit from your PDA. (They don’t have to be from my lists!)
