If you haven't noticed, RSS feeds are becoming the next big wave. Instead of clogging up your email box, why not download your favorite news site as an RSS feed to your PDA? There aren't a lot of readers available yet, but here are some of the best for Pocket PC based PDAs.

1. Bloglines For PDA

It looks like Bloglines is becoming the Web based RSS Aggregator of choice for many users. The great thing is Bloglines also has a PDA friendly address.

2. PocketRSS

PocketRSS is a Today Screen plugin and stand-alone application that allows a quick and easy method of displaying various types of RSS/OPML compliant data on your Today Screen. It does require a connection to the Internet from the PocketPC, but is designed to still function while offline.

3. Egress

A simple to use RSS reader for Pocket PC. Supports RSS (.09, .91, .92 and 2.0) and RDF (1.0) and integrates with Today. The ability to organize feeds into folder is this reader's strong suit.

4. mobilrss.net

mobilerss brings RSS (RDF Site Summary) Feeds to mobile users. mobilerss enables you to view RSS News anywhere on any mobile device. Just Add your selection of RSS feeds and synchronize with your PDA.

5. PocketFeed

PocketFeed is an RSS/RDF news aggregator that runs on the Pocket PC 2002/2003 PDA's. Using OPML for it's blogroll, you can now take your news, blog entries, or any other type of syndicated data with you, sync it wirelessly or read it offline. This is a pretty decent RSS Reader.

6. AvantGo for RSS

AvantGo for RSS enables you to sync RSS feeds as AvantGo channels. Each time you synchronize AvantGo you can get the latest from RSS feeds offered by bloggers, major media any other publisher distributing their content in an RSS format. The feeds are delivered to your device in a format that is optimized for your small screen smartphone or PDA. It’s easy to use and free!

7. RSS Sync

RSS Sync is a Pocket PC 2003 ActiveSync Extension. It synchronizes RSS/RDF news to your Pocket PC 2003- effectively creating an offline newsreader.

8. FeedBurner Mobile Feed Reader
