Here's what we need:
1. Pocket PC
2. Wireless connection to the internet (you can play music with your PDA connected to your cradle, if you so desire)
3. Gsplayer (freeware)- In the Elswhere on the Web section there is a link to the Developers homepage. There is also an alternative download link available.
The GSplayer is a freeware music player that plays most music types including Ogg Vorbis and Shoutcast playlists. It's a very simple looking player that uses minimal resources but has an enormous amount of options. The biggest downside is the lack of documentation, so you'll want to experiment to configure the player to your liking. On the next page we'll walk through the setting up of the GSplayer to play Shoutcast Radio stations.
Let's start by downloading the GSplayer. If you use the direct download, you will get versions for all PPC's and Windows. The alternate download will let you choose by your PPC processor. Unzip the file on your home computer. There will be one or two files in the unzip file. Drag and drop all files to your Pocket PC. I put my in my documents folder, but you can put it wherever you like.
