Possible Delays For Windows Mobile 7?

Wednesday December 16, 2009

Earlier this month, I told you Windows Mobile 7 could be out as early as the third quarter of 2010. Over the weekend, Microsoft's Phil Moore, the company's Head of Mobility UK, said Windows Mobile 7 has been delayed and won't be out until "late in 2010." This is definitely not the news any of us wanted to hear. Moore did attempt to reassure users by letting them know that when Windows Mobile 7 finally arrives, it will "give customers what they want" and that we'll get "flexibility on a much easier touch UI." Here's hoping the OS doesn't experience further delays.

If your PDA already has GPS capabilities or a GPS add-on module, then all you'll have to do is pay a small fee for the GpsSpot software to begin using it. To make the software even more friendly to use, you can save an image with a targeted location.
