We all knew a new version of Windows Mobile was coming at some point, but now, it's official. This week, Steve Ballmer officially unveiled Windows Phone 7 Series, the latest mobile operating system from Microsoft.
With Windows Phone 7 Series, Microsoft will bring together Xbox LIVE games and the Zune music and video experience on a mobile phone. Although the focus is definitely on mobile phones, I'm hoping we'll also see this new version of Windows Mobile appear on PDAs as well.
