Virgin America & Google to Offer Free In-Flight Wi-Fi for the Holidays

Friday October 30, 2009

Virgin America and Google are partnering to offer free in-flight Wi-Fi to all of Virgin America's guests this holiday season. From November 10 through January 15, 2010, you'll be able to check email, shop online, access social networks, and much more using the GoGo Inflight Internet service on every Virgin America flight.

Virgin America currently offers Wi-Fi on all of its planes. The airline also offers power outlets near every seat. The GoGo service typically costs $12.95 for flights of over three hours; $9.95 for flights between 1.5 and three hours; and $5.95 for short haul flights of less than 1.5 hours. The company also offers handheld/PDA pricing of $7.95 for flights over 1.5 hours.
