BigFix Brings Management of Devices Under Common Umbrella

In an effort to consolidate the management of enterprise mobile devices, BigFix recently released a new version of the BigFix Agent that will run on a wide variety of Windows Mobile devices. The BigFix solution not only brings the management of multiple enterprise devices under a common umbrella with other devices, it also helps cut the cost of management and lowers the risk these devices can be attacked.

You'll find the following features in the latest version of the BigFix Agent: real-time inventory data for all managed Windows Mobile devices, the ability to control encryption settings for memory cards and on-board data storage, remote wipe capabilities, the ability to distribute software and patches to all devices or a specific group of devices, and more.
